Wherever you are, just became a member of a major political party in your country, and then you will be accepted to their meetings and other gatherings. Also you will potentially be rubbing shoulders with senators and ministers, thus getting important information. I'm in Australia and I just became a member of the Labour Party which cost me $44 dollars for the year. And above all the cameras will be on them for a change!
