I don't pretend to have any expertise on the government's use of hypnosis and electronic harassment of the people they target - this is a relatively new area to me. From what you describe, it sounds like your father suffered from very severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of his service in Korea. It also sounds like US government totally mismanaged his psychiatric care - and treated him as if he had a psychotic disorder rather than PTSD. It is fairly common for people with PTSD to experience dissociative episodes and to have ideas of reference (to receive "messages" ) and hallucinations while in a dissociative state. When they are re-traumatized (as you father clearly was in the hospital) the PTSD can become much worse. I have seen people become chronically dissociated in similar circumstances. I am not in a position to offer an opinion whether the US government was deliberately doing things (such as hypnosis) to make your father worse. If he was privy to embarrassing information about illegal activities the US military engaged in during the Korean War, it's possible he was.
