I originally signed in as a member to contact Timothy White. It seems that perhaps we are related by my mother, Betty Lou Sheridan.I did not know what your organization was about until after I became a member. I have briefly read a few articles or comments. It seems to me that the work you are involved with is for the most part, something that most people do not view as real or valid. Most people are too busy tending to their lives and such talk of conspiracies and government abuses falls on deaf ears. And yet, I am one who has experienced much in the way of government abuses, obstruction of justice, crimes committed against an innocent citizen, etc. My story is too wild to discuss here, and my own experiences make me one who would not readily dismiss your work. But it seems to me that there is a better way to effect change in such government offenses. The days of PROTESTS are past. Protests are of the 1960's. Today, people don't care about a person's or groups protest. People scoff at such deplays of public discontent. It seems to me then that the most effective way to bring change regardless of what wrongs need to be rectifide, is to be involved in the process which has allowed for the wrongs. This means getting involved in the system in order to return the system to the proper function. Our American Government is a good system of government, but it fails when corrupt people are in managment of the government. And so, for those who find that our government is committing wrongs, there is opportunity to replace the wrong doers with those who have intent to do the work of government for the good of the people. Our nation, like any other nation, needs government for its own survival. Without an organized government, we would implode and become a chaotic land of lawlessness. So we know that we need our government for the very life of our nation. Agaion, it is when corrupt persons become seeped in our government that we fail as a just nation.I believe that God intended for America to be a great law abiding, God fearing nation. But what our founding fathers sacraficed so much for has been dispised by the evil within our boarders. And when we have a President such as George W. Bush in control, we fall prey to all sorts of evil.I was a loyal republican until my own experiences and sufferings under the GWB administration and I continue to this day, to wait for justice. And as a result of my experiences, I have decided to run for polital office. It is my hope that my sufferings will have meaning and my expoeriences will make me more able to effect the kind of change America needs desperately. Without a change in direction, we are sure to fall an cease as the Great Nation America.Karen L. Sheridan
