I did not come to PP to read one member berate, abuse and threaten another member. I am here seeking ideas, and to share any information I have.
When we begin a sentence with "I believe..." or "I feel...", or "I think...", we are expressing our personally held OPINION. Based upon our experiences, background, beliefs and personal philosophy, we all have our different opinions on what makes the universe tick, as well as what is at the root of our daily troubles.
OPINIONS are not fact, although they may contain some facts. To gather facts and then COMBINE those facts with your thoughts still does not necessarily represent an accurate conclusion on any given topic. To assert your Opinions and Conclusions as fact will not allow any fresh air to blow through your brain and open you for the chance that you have taken a wrong turn in your deductions. Are we only here at PP to just soapbox, and not pay attention to what others have to offer?
Listen to what other members have to say - you might just learn something. However, if you disagree with another member, be respectful in expressing yourself, or say nothing. Don't we already face enough hostility and nastyness in every moment and corner of our lives that we need to contribute to our own unhappiness HERE TOO? There is absolutely no excuse for treating each other LIKE OUR OWN PERPS TREAT US.
