Flat tax campaign is worldwide, amounts to a tax cut for the rich

Interesting coincidence ... it appears that this flat tax campaign is worldwide .... even New Zealand is being bombarded with proposals. A flat tax would be guaranteed to lower taxes on the rich, so who would pick up the slack (or do they want the governments to go bankrupt from lack of money)? Just how much money is being spent worldwide to 'influence' people with propaganda campaigns to give the rich another tax break? The rich already got a minimum tax cut of 20% per year for over 30 years starting in the 1980s, and that 20% per year tax cut has been enhanced at times to 30% or more per year at various times over the past 30 years. The middle class & poor did not get those tax breaks (many times the middle class & poor got tax hikes), and now our debt is at $17 trillion dollars.
