Some of us in the community are planning to journey to Washington, DC next week for the meeting of the Presidential Commision for the Study of Bioethical Issues. Their topic for the meeting on Tuesday, March 1, will include the review of human subjects protection. This event could be potentially important for our cause. The following is some information for those that plan to attend:

Transportation - Drivers and Riders
|
There are several people that still need transportation to the Presidential Commission meeting in Washington, DC.
Locations: Boston, Florida, Louisville, KY. Anyone driving in these vicinities and would like help with gas or just the company, please let me know asap!
And drivers that have room and could carry a rider or two, please let me know.

TI Meeting in Washington, DC - Monday, February 28
|
We plan to have a TI meeting Monday evening in DC at:
501 G & 5th Sts., NW
which is right downtown very near the White House, the National Mall, and the Capitol Building - and a place nearly everyone can afford. It's also very close to the St. Regis where the Presidential Commission meeting will be held. Tip: If you ever need a GPS, it's in Washington, DC!!! And you absolutely must remember to include NE, NW, SE, or SW in the address or fugeddaboutit. Cellphones are also advised, if possible in case you get disoriented.
