I've experienced this as well on the MRT in Thailand, the attackers use military technology meant for intercepting and disabling projectiles such as high velocity missiles but use lower energy levels for use as remote enhanced interrogation usage on us TI's.

I've been in limestone caves ~100ft deep (including solid substrate, not including air space), power dropped, but still painfully effective.
I was aiming at 100 meters plus, I plan to go to some deeper caves within the next few weeks and will post an update with my results.

From my experience on the London Underground, I would say you will have to dig very deep to be safe from DEWS. I was attacked with agonising pain on my feet while travelling on a fast moving Underground train at a depth of at least 18 feet below ground.
With the "Frey effect" they don't even need a microchip in your body only laser guided target allocation (aiming), which military satellites possess.
I've been trying to find some underground caves in order to see how far down I must go in order to be safe from their DEW attacks. Perhaps other TI's can do the same and we can share results? As different mineral substrates might give us an advantage at different depths. These attacks have been around since the 1970's minimum; 5G I imagine has very little to do with it, however, maybe it's a fair statement for next generation of remote manipulation?
