Neuroscientists at UC Berkeley have mapped responses to spoken words in people`s brains via fMRI scans.

One scientist said "It is possible that this approach could be used to decode information about what words a person is hearing, reading, or possibly even thinking". There, he said it!!

It goes on to say "Hasson believes it will be possible to reconstruct the words a person is thinking from their brain activity. The ethical implications are enormous."

Well, we know anyway.

You can look at a "semantic map" here
