The UN Committee Against Torture has asked Canada to provide name lists of victims of torture by 01/06/2013:
“The State party should compile statistical data relevant to the monitoring of the implementation of the Convention obligations at the national level, including data on complaints, investigations, prosecutions and convictions of cases of torture and ill-treatment, detention conditions, abuse by public officials, administrative detention, trafficking and domestic and sexual violence as well as on”
