I dreamt today I met you at a party where, rejecting me, you handed me a pop-up book with childlike hand-drawn figures that told the story of my failure as a human-being. I accepted it and said So be it. But its a dream and we can speak. I say I will see you again when dreams and reality meet. And a poem and a song run through my mind:
My heart of silk
is filled with lights
with lost bells,
with lillies and bees.
I will go very far,
farther than those hills,
farther than the seas,
close to the stars,
to beg Christ the Lord
to give back the soul I had
of old, when I was a child,
ripened with legends,
with a feathered cap
and a wooden sword.
Federico Garcia Lorca.
