THE EXTREME DANGERS OF EATING SUGAR EXPLAINED IN ONE SHORT PARAGRAPH.
We all have approximately seven litres of blood in our bodies. Our normal blood sugar level should measure approximately 80 milligrams per desi-litre of blood, which means that we have approximately one teaspoon of sugar in our blood.
If you eat too much sugar or too many carbohydrates which turn into sugar after they are eaten then sugar binds to your red blood cells in a process known as glycation.
When sugar binds to your red blood cells it makes the red blood cells sticky and clumpy and they will become too rigid to bend and they will be unable to travel through the small pipes in your fingers and toes which are known as capillaries.
You will then begin to notice a tingling in your fingers and toes. Then you will begin to notice numbness, pain and burning in your fingers and toes. You would then develop ulsers. The tissues and nerves in your fingers and toes would then die and you would develop gangarine. You would then have your foot or hand amputated.
If your red blood cells are too sticky and clumpy to travel around your eyes you would then develop many and varied eye diseases and you would eventually become blind.
The answer to having good health is not about eating low fat food because fat is the most beneficial food available to living men and women. The answer to having good health is to lower your intake of both refined sugar and carbohydrate food. Continue to eat protein and fat which are found in animal based food products such as meat, fish, chicken, eggs, milk, butter, yogurt and kefir. Considerably lower your intake of plant based foods which are grains, vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds and legumes. Stop eating all refined sugar and deserts.
I obtained most of the above information from a youtube video by Dr Eric Berg which is linked here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=touPC69jMsg
