@ marty: after i was sent off to a boarding school in the same city (for my own protection) my brother got the brunt of the abuse, and ended up spending his early teens in brockville because he thought the police would help him when he called to tell them they'd better come and do something about his mother (the woman who shot at me etc as reported) "or else" he got shock 'treatment', water 'therapy' (how lovely these tortures sound when you put healing terms right after them!), and worse from one attendant
