This taxpayer-supported secret police force in America existed for the purpose of maintaining segregation in light of Brown vs. Board of Education. It controlled the newspapers. It had a spy ring operating in every county in the state, watching over civil rights advocates and yankees from out of town, taking note of their financial transactions and sexual behavior, among other things. They intentionally spread misinformation about individuals, and fed information to the Ku Klux Klan. Citizens were fired from their jobs as a result of smearing info passed onto their employers. Information was also passed on to the FBI and members of Congress. Given such a precedent, the MIAC report (Misouri) that warns law enforcement officials about individuals who are fighting for freedom by opposing the Fed and world government probably shouldn't come as such a great surprise.
