Two movies were made about the murder of Andy Goodman, James Chaney and Mickey Schwerner, one of them -- Murder In Mississippi -- focused on their life in Mississippi, and the role they played in the Civil Rights Movement and was factually accurate, and the other movie -- Mississippi Burning -- was about the FBI's investigation into the murder, which wasn't as factually accurate, but still pai9nted a good picture of the Jim Crow south and how the FBI charged the killers with "violation of Civil Rights" instead of "murder" since murder was a state charge (which means they probably would have gotten off due to all-white juries) while Civil Rights violations were subject to Federal law, and tried out of state. This video is a mix of both.Category: EducationTags:James Chaney Andrew Goodman Michael Mickey Schwerner Three Civil Rights Workers racism racist race kkk klan Mississippi
