It is also a spy currency because your spending data would be located in one central location where unknown others could then use such data to track everything that you do and where you go and what time you go there. If you are ordered by your government to spend your central bank digital currency within a twenty minute radius of your home then your currency would no longer work anywhere outside that radius for ever more. Under the guise of sustainable behaviour your currency may certainly be programmed in that manner.
