  • The taser itself is a conducted energy weapon, CEW.

We all know what DEWs are but what I've been hunting is a "neuromuscular incapacitation device" or neurostimulator transponder.

Also I'm getting the impression the gallbladder can be influenced by such devices.

    A few acronyms/terms etc:
Lorentz Force: beamed electromagnetic radio frequency energy

    EPIC: electromagnetic personel interdiction control

    EMDT: electromuscular disruption technology

    NMI: neuromuscular incapacitation

    NMES: neuromuscular electric stimualation

See Chapter 6 - Hazards of Electromagnetic IC Radiation to Fuels

    "Tests aboard

ships and in laboratories have shown that, while it is possible to ignite volatile fuel-vapor

mixtures by induced RF energy, the probability of ignition during normal fueling procedures is

remote, given the number of conditions that must exist simultaneously in order to support

    combustion."

Just thinking about if a low powered beam of mm wave were focused on gasoline vapors surrounding a person at a pump for many, many minutes:

Flash point of gasoline is -45 F

"According to reports, a 2-second burst from the system can heat the skin to a temperature of 130° F ... ."

But, it seems thermal burns to the skin don't begin to occur undtil after 4 and a half minutes.

That's such a good question, LIM. I'm going to be thinking about that for a long while.
