My gps tracking device evidence

I bought this itrail gps tracking device from the spy shop here in Reno,NV. My gps tracking device is suppose to show a trail of where I have been with it on a map. The only problem is the trail on my gps map is showing places that I have not been too that are seen on my gps tracking device map.
