A Warning and A HopeThe prophetic truth of the stunning destiny of Israel and its protector, the U.S.A., is fully revealed in my provocative, scripture-based new audiotape series, The Eagle and the Serpent. The Bible's book of Daniel says that prophecy is determined in advance by God. It is inevitable. It will happen, and nothing that man might do can prevent it. What is important to realize, however, is that prophecy is made up of two key components: (1) Warning; and (2) Hope.Proverbs 22:3 advises that, "A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished." The prudent man, exercising wisdom and discernment, heeds God's prophetic warning.Seeing the gathering storm clouds and foreseeing the evil to come, the prudent man puts on the garment of faith and hides himself in the shadow of God's mighty and strong wings. The warning is heeded. But the simple, meaning the undiscerning who willingly are ignorant, reject the warning and are swept away in the tidal wave of wrath that envelops them and the multitudes. Such men do not realize that, if only they had yielded to the warning given in advance in God's Word, they would be rescued. Indeed, the faithful man who trusts in God's pure Word shall eventually see fulfilled the Blessed Hope of salvation and eternal life.If only unregenerated man understood that prophecy is real and that their destiny lies in God's hands:"O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!...To Me belongeth vengeance and recompense;...For the Lord shall judge His people..."
