The US Office in Russia was well known to be attacked with microwave weaponry decades ago.  The leaked memos are supposedly from people likely at high risk from the enemies of Freedom.  What are the odds that they were talking about it with each other on their secret network?  100% - 99.44% - 99% - 98% - It's a virtual certainty.

The release of the information to the world audience is reportedly through several large News Media clients.  They have supposedly been fed only certain carefully chosen types of information or topics.  They then would have withheld elements of that which fall under their blackout rules.

It seems reasonable to assume that the stakes in the game of cat and mouse over the memos are much more intense than we have been led to believe.

The US wants to investigate a crime and restore confidence in its communications systems and maintain working relations with its allies.  But the real threat to WikiLeaks and the threat posed by them to "IT" (not the USA) is probably around the issue of exposure of the reality of the worldwide takeover which may be documented in the rest of the memos.

It is unlikely that the current Administration would authorize cyber attacks as have been reported, although corrupt agents might have participated.  The public would not accept such actions in principle or by law.

The secrecy of the remainder of the memos would then depend upon Who the real players are.

For example, was the US trying to inform the world population in a way that would avoid confronting its corrupt militant elements?  Are the possible extraditions actually escape plans to get the founder to safety so the information can then be leaked?

Conspiracy Theories - and twisted ones at that; but better to have had a chance to think than to sit around and digest unforgiveable propaganda.
