Attention! I have not changed my mind: I am against exposing private life in public! Everyone knows it. Because of this, everyones respects it because it is a golden rule i never break. The first one who should attempt not to do so will have me stuck on his back et and i shall make him pay the maximum fee due to the solely fact that i wrote these lines et because i never break the strict separation rule of my existence.Of course, it won't stop me to go give interviews and express myself to Closer. Or to Gala (This newspaper did publish the most beautiful pictures of myself i have ever found in the press instead of the manipulative dirt found in the so called „serious press“). I would gladly give an interview, if we, for instance, found a light or a philosophical subject to discuss that does not concern my private life.
Do not believe that i despise the current event, nor the general hilarity that ensued. Here is the proof. I will bring you a new topic, some sort of quiz so to say, next sunday during lunch right after the kids have left the table and have gone playing. Question: Who gave the address where the scooter was heading? Come on, you simpletons! How do you really think this took place? A photographer was walking in the streets, then saw a scooter with two people sitting on it and thought: „Bingo! This must be President Hollande!“ Is this really what you think? No, of course! Someone very well informed has passed every informations: adresse, time and visiting schedule. Hum, i wonder who this could be, someone with great interest in this, no? An individual who has access to this kind of precise informations, now that must inspire fear within the governement, no? No! Our governement is composed of Saints only. Nothing like guys with scooter and tuti quanti. It reminds me of the so called „Djihadistes columns“ in Mali who made a „surprise“ attack in Bamako! Facing the surprise and the danger, Francois, our futur masqued scooterman, fearlessly stood up on on his 14th of july command car. Too funny! But also completely lacking of credibility. Our country shoots pictures from space that have a less than a metre graphic resolution. Not to forget the Americans who have also established bases into the space area, and not just a little bit! How do you gather „by surprise“, and in the desert, 400 Toyota pick ups each carying one gas can and six men? How does one hide from so many stares coming from space? One can not. And who is stupid enough to propose such a manoeuver? Someone who has interests. Congratulations to our secret services for accomplishing such a technical prodigy. But in this great mediatic circus arena, the hunters went trigger happy and the baits were eaten alive. Poor them.
Europe schemes and destroys us. Fully.
Since July last year, the European Commission and the U.S. are negotiating the establishment of a Transatlantic Grand Market (GMT). For all our sakes, of course. Last December, a new round of this negotiations took place. In the greatest secrecy. For all our sakes, evidently. This secret is actually the only power available to the European Commission. And it is holding tight on to it! The commission fears above all that we are not able to understand all the good that awaits us with this agreement. The Commission fears a coalition of an ungrateful opposition. Meaning, a "coalition of anti-GMT democrats" on the North American side and here, a "populist exploitation of fears" against this agreement. Elites UMP (right) and PS (left) are already rallied. The Left Front (Front de Gauche) and EELV are in opposition. In my opinion, this is a nice base for joint action. For my part, I would like to concretise it during the elections too.
Of course, the Commission knows that if she did not say anything, someone in a newsroom would eventually realize something is going on. So, naturaly, the Commission speaks (in globich, of course) just to create some reassuring background noise. It also distributes documents (in globich, of course). „Very technical stuff, but hey son! Let us the press have a look and drop it if it isn't heavy publishing material“. The Commission itself also progressively comments these useless documents. Truth to be told, this is a wonderful demonstration of the art of speaking to say nothing which is the great contribution of the bodies of the European Union in contemporary political history.
However, the European Parliament has set up "coordination groups" on negotiating transatlantic market. In these secret meetings of the European Parliament, the Commission systematically promises to move forward on the issue of transparency in the negotiations. „We did not find any solutions to allow better access by the European Parliament in the negotiations. It is American practice” But the negotiator Ignacio Garcia Bercero reassures us: they thought of "the inclusion of the civil society” Aaaaaah ! Lucky them! And to do just that, a consulting group was created and named "Advisory Group" and will have an access, admittedly limited, “in a near future” to certain of these documents! Even the option of being able to debate them with the Commission will be granted to this Advisory Group! Now, who are the representatives of this "civil society"? Pressure groups, starting with those in the industry sector. Lobbies in general, at least those who are not already directly informed by their very special channels, without a doubt. For unions, it will be more difficult. As for the representatives of the people, well, they can go to hell!
In this context, the chief negotiator of the European Commission, Ignacio Garcia Bercero, has introduced the latest "advanced news" at the end of the last round of the negotiations with the North Americans. In reality, only the congressmen members of the Parliamentary Committee on International Trade and the chairmen of other various committees may attend this presentation. However, many of my colleagues, as myself, are deeply interested in the subject. Must i remind everyone that I began to distribute a pamphlet on the subject in 2009 during the European elections?
And by all means, we have the right to know. But we know nothing. The members of this committee do not know much either. You'll see why.
These meetings of these coordination groups are taking place behind closed doors and without translation, in this international broken English called globich. I did also ask the European Commission about this enslavement accepted on behalf of the requirements of "confidentiality" made by US government. Indeed the U.S.are spying on us! And above all, they require from us that we keep it secret! But keeping the secret from whom? For we, the parliamentarians, and for the people we represent. Who else?
You may say: he is exaggerating to alert us. No I am not exaggerating. We are facing a precedent. In late October, the Commission and Canada have reached a single market agreement. However, at this dark hour, nobody has access to the final text of this agreement. This concealment continues despite our persistent requests to the Commission. We were able to obtain bribes only of informations on some of the concessions that were made between Europe to Canada and vice versa. But the little we know gave us a cold sweat. For example, we now know that all services that are not explicitly excluded in the text of the agreement can be liberalized. This is what they call a "negative list" A terrible invention! Evidently, the US are asking the implementation of the very same "negative list" process for the great transatlantic market.
A word about Jean-Luc Mélanchon:
Jean-Luc Mélenchon born 19 August 1951) is a French politician who served in the government of France as Minister of Vocational Education from 2000 to 2002. He was also a member of the French Senate, representing the département of Essonne. He came 4th in the 2012 French presidential election achieving about 11% of the vote.
Mélenchon left the Socialist Party in November 2008 to found the Left Party with French deputy Marc Dolez. As leader of the Left Party, he joined the Left Front before the 2009 European elections and was selected as the coalition's main candidate in the South-West region. At those elections he won 8.15% of the votes cast and was elected to the European Parliament.
Mélenchon is co-president of the Left Party along with Martine Billard. During the protest movement against the pension reform of 2010 his public stature grew thanks to his many public and television appearances.
Jean-Luc Mélenchon met Julian Assange at the Embassy of Ecuador in London, taking the defense of WikiLeaks founder facing extradition to the United States for crimes he denies committing.
Motivated by the turn to austerity undertaken by the socialist government in 1983, he joined the Masonic Lodge Roger Leray Grand Orient de France (GODF) where his favorite themes are the republican ideal and the defense of secularism. Besides this political affiliation, he found in Freemasonry a personal affiliation, his father and grandfather being themselves Masons.
