I was a electrician most of my life ,I have noticed street lights around two counties in the last year.usually they use sodium lights in street lights ,sodium lights use much less power than white lights and put out more light lumes.i have noticed that many street lights now puts out a greenish blue light much different than the sodium yellow light does.the strange color street lights are mostly around schools,churches and businesses in the cities and they are mixed some yellow and some greenish tints.these are many around all schools ,churches and businesses and are less in country side.i drove up a small hill side and look out over the city and I could see a world of difference in all the street lights.these lights look very unusual to me ,maybe this is a new kind of light they use now.
