The End of Death: ‘Soul Catcher’ Computer Chip Due…

A computer chip implanted behind the eye that could record a person’s every lifetime thought and sensation is to be developed by British scientists.

“This is the end of death,” said Dr. Chris Winter, of British Telecom’s artificial life team. He predicted that within three decades it would be possible to relive other people’s lives by playing back their experiences on a computer. “By combining this information with a record of the person’s genes, we could recreate a person physically, emotionally and spiritually.”

Dr. Winter’s team of eight scientists at BT’s Martlesham Heath Laboratories near Ipswich calls the chip the ‘Soul Catcher.’ It would be possible to imbue a new-born baby with a lifetime’s experiences by giving him or her the Soul Catcher chip of a dead person, Dr. Winter said. The proposal to digitize existence is based on a solid calculation of how much data the brain copes with over a lifetime.

Ian Pearson , BT’s official futurologist, has measured the flow of impulses from the optical nerve and nerves in the skin, tongue, ear, and nose. Over an eighty year life, we process 10 terrabytes of data, equivalent to the storage capacity of 7,142,857,142,860,000 floppy disks.

Dr. Pearson said, “If current trends in the miniaturization of computer memory continues at the rate of the past 20 years – a factor of 100 every decade – today’s 8-megabyte memory chip norm will be able to store 10 terrabytes in 15 years.”

British Telecom would not divulge how much money it is investing in the project, but Dr. Winter said it was taking ‘Soul Catcher 2025′ very seriously. He admitted that there were profound ethical considerations, but emphasized that BT was embarking on this line of research to enable it to remain at the forefront of communications technology.

“An implanted chip would be like an aircraft’s black box and would enhance communications beyond current concepts,” he said. “For example, police would be able to use it to relive an attack, rape, or murder from the victim’s viewpoint to help catch the criminal.”

Other applications would be less useful but more frightening. “I could even play back the smells, sounds, and sights of my holiday to my friends,” Dr. Winter said.

#1033 Threat Assessment/ don't make stupid statements

The only people being murdered are TIs. XXX is right though the criteria for considering if someone is a threat is, "Are they a danger to themselves or anyone else".
The situation we are in means there is no room for flippant remarks or jokes that cross that line.

The woman who bought that room called police for some reason I really don't know why, but when they saw this room they declared she was a danger to her self. She was involuntarily committed and force injected with psychotic medicine.
They claimed she would suffocate in this room. You can see in the pictures that she has a fan in front of one of the two microwave blocking vents. It has been three weeks since she was last injected and people who know her say she still hasn't fully recovered. Her lawyer did get her off by convincing a judge that she is not a danger.
Here is another example. Police moved the brother of two past local police into my second floor apartment. where I came under surveillance at first unknown to me at the time. then they began with the V2K making threats and invading my privacy. I was being attacked in my own home and couldn't do anything about it. I contacted police and the FBI. They would not help me. I loaded up guns to defend myself but they got my father to take them. That is when I was attacked by the supposed MEDUSA microwave weapon. I went to the hospital and was set up the ambulance was even diverted to a small obscure hospital. After being drugged I woke up over a day later being rolled into a mental hospital strapped to a gurney. I could here my attackers through V2K saying, "This is how we do a hit today". They attempted a forced suicide with psychological torture and regular directed energy torture.
These are very sick people. All you have to do is give them a reason....any reason and they will kill or destroy you. They will promote the war on terrorism and get paid overtime while doing this to you. Don't be stupid and say stupid things. This is not the best of times to be living in this country..........and they have done a lot more than just this to me.

Research Summary

The approach behind my research is fundamentally grounded in Neural
Engineering, utilizing large-scale computational modeling and
advanced neuroimaging to infer circuitry and circuit properties of
visual cortex. Neural engineering is an emerging interdisciplinary
field of research that uses engineering techniques to investigate the
function of and manipulate the behavior of the central or peripheral
nervous system. The field draws heavily on computational
neuroscience, experimental neuroscience, electrical engineering,
clinical neurology and signal processing, as well as encompassing
elements of robotics, computer engineering, tissue engineering,
materials science and nanotechnology.
My research has led to thedevelopment of several innovative systems under what can be termed
applied neuroscience, e.g. brain computer interfaces for image search
and computer-assisted detection systems for medical image analysis.
My philosophy, “build it, measure it, test it, understand it”, is
partly fostered by my six years of industrial R&D experience at
the Sarnoff Research Center in Princeton, NJ.

I am the director of the Laboratory for Intelligent Imaging and NeuroComputing (LIIINC).

Auditory hallucinations: a comparison between patients and nonpatients

The form and the content of chronic auditory hallucinations were compared in three cohorts, namely patients with schizophrenia, patients with a dissociative disorder, and nonpatient voice-hearers.
The form of the hallucinatory experiences was not significantly different between the three groups. The subjects in the nonpatient group, unlike those in the patient groups, perceived their voices as predominantly positive: they were not alarmed or upset by their voices and felt in control of the experience. In most patients, the onset of auditory hallucinations was preceded by either a traumatic event or an event that activated the memory of earlier trauma. The significance of this study is that it presents evidence that the form of the hallucinations experienced by both patient and nonpatient groups is similar, irrespective of diagnosis. Differences between groups were predominantly related to the content, emotional quality, and locus of control of the voices. In this study the disability incurred by hearing voices is associated with (the reactivation of) previous trauma and abuse.

BACKGROUND: This study tested the hypotheses that interpretations of voices will be associated with distress linked to auditory hallucinations, and that patients experiencing hallucinations will exhibit higher levels of negative interpretations in comparison with non-patients. METHOD: The Interpretation of Voices Inventory (British Journal of Clinical Psychology 41 (2002) 259) was administered to patients who met DSM-IV criteria for schizophrenia spectrum disorders with auditory hallucinations and non-patients.
Patients were also assessed using a semi-structured interview to assess clinical dimensions of their voices. RESULTS: The results showed that people with psychosis who experience auditory hallucinations did exhibit higher levels of positive and negative interpretations of voices, in comparison to non-patients.
Correlational analyses revealed that interpretations of voices were significantly associated with emotional, physical and cognitive characteristics of voices. Regression analyses demonstrated that physical characteristics of voices and metaphysical beliefs were significant predictors of emotional characteristics of voices.
CONCLUSIONS: The theoretical and clinical implications of these findings are discussed.

OBJECTIVE: The authors tested a model of hallucinated "voices" based on a neural network computer simulation of disordered speech perception. METHOD: Twenty-four patients with schizophrenia spectrum
disorders who reported hallucinated voices were compared with 21 patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders who did not report voices and 26 normal subjects. Narrative speech perception was assessed through use of a masked speech tracking task with three levels of superimposed phonetic noise. A sentence repetition task was used to assess grammar-dependent verbal working memory, and an auditory continuous performance task was used to assess nonlanguage attention. RESULTS: Masked speech tracking task and sentence repetition performance by hallucinating patients was impaired relative to both nonhallucinating patients and normal subjects.
Although both hallucinating and nonhallucinating patients demonstrated auditory attention impairments when compared to normal subjects, the two patient groups did not differ with respect to these variables. CONCLUSIONS: Results support the hypothesis that hallucinated voices in schizophrenia arise from disrupted speech perception and verbal working memory systems rather than from nonlanguage cognitive or attentional deficits.

Deficits in emotional prosodic processing, the expression of emotions in voice, have been widely reported in patients with schizophrenia, not only in comprehending emotional prosody but also expressing it. Given that prosodic cues are important in memory for voice and speaker identity, Cutting has proposed that prosodic deficits may contribute to the misattribution that appears to occur in auditory hallucinations in psychosis. The present study compared hallucinating patients with schizophrenia, non-hallucinating patients and normal controls on an emotional prosodic processing task. It was hypothesised that hallucinators would demonstrate greater deficits in emotional prosodic processing than non-hallucinators and normal controls. Participants were 67 patients with a diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder (hallucinating=38, non-hallucinating=29) and 31 normal controls. The prosodic processing task used in this study comprised a series of semantically neutral sentences expressed in happy, sad and neutral voices which were rated on a 7-point Likert scale from sad (-3) through neutral (0) to happy (+3). Significant deficits in the prosodic processing tasks were found in hallucinating patients compared to non-hallucinating patients and normal controls. No significant differences were observed between non-hallucinating patients and normal controls. In the present study, patients experiencing auditory hallucinations were not as successful in recognising and using prosodic cues as the non-hallucinating patients. These results are consistent with Cutting's hypothesis, that prosodic dysfunction may mediate the misattribution of auditory hallucinations.

I watched a 1992 film “Shining Through” with Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffith; co-staring Liam Neeson.. Since my kidnapping, I have a preference for war movies. The same

breeding bees in a huge dome – bees for pollination carrying a virus for which
there is no cure. Monsanto anyone(?) Monsanto has a monopoly on
seeds and therefore all the vegetables we consume unless organically grown are GM seeds from this company. There's talk going around that we are going to experience water restrictions and this also ties into Monsanto, by the way. It is my prayer, that the ACLU, the current US Department of Justice, and the courts will prosecute the perpetrators and the criminals who directed, these torture hate crimes, particularly those embedded in criminal human research experimentation via the use of the above deadly military weapons on innocent people.
